Ocean Front Two Bedroom Residence

We have stayed at Beachside the last two years. You can’t beat the room, location, shuttle option, and onsite restaurant. However, it is unacceptable to pay that much and not have a working elevator. The elevator has been broken the past two years that we’ve stayed and from reading other reviews it seems to be broken all the time. I felt bad for disabled and elderly people who were struggling to climb the stairs multiple times a day. Unfortunately we will probably stay at a different location next year that is more accessible.

We had a great time at Beachside Resorts. The sunset views were the best and we loved that there was a restaurant and servers at the pool as well as a more upscale experience at the restaurant in the lobby. Our key cards stopped working on the main door due to dead batteries but security was sent out very promptly after I notified the front desk and the problem was quickly resolved. We will definitely be back to Beachside Resorts for future stays in the island.

View is amazing. On arrival master toilet barely flushed and comforters had ugly brown stains. Issues were promptly addressed but was told to keep in my mind comforters have natural down that can explain the stains. Uh huh. I have had down comforters at home with never this issue.

We enjoyed our time at beachside! The views were amazing and accommodations were great! We did appreciate them accommodating us doing late checkout and when we were there the elevators stopped working, but the workers took our luggage down when it was time to leave. I recommend staying here for sure!

We’ve stayed at Beachside Resort before and were excited to return. The property is beautiful, the location is great, and the staff—especially Tommy—were incredibly kind and helpful. The team was very responsive and accommodating, from helping with an early check-in to working with us when issues came up. We did experience some maintenance problems this stay: the washer was not working properly, the hot water in the tub never got truly hot, one bathroom sink was not draining, and the toilets clogged easily. This was disappointing given our past smooth stays and the fact that we were relying on the in-unit washer. However, we are extremely grateful that the team gave us access to another unit’s washer and dryer. That was an absolute blessing for our family and really helped save our plans! Overall, the hospitality and effort to make things right stood out, and we truly appreciated the way the team took care of us!

The condo itself was absolutely perfect. The layout was great and the views were incredible. We really enjoyed the unit and the property overall. The only issue I have is that the property advertises itself as a “smoke-free property,” and that was not our experience. Several neighbors smoked every morning on the balcony next to us, even after management asked them to stop. We also saw people smoking throughout the property, including a woman smoking right next to a “No Smoking” sign outside the lobby and people smoking while waiting for the shuttle just outside the entrance. If the property is going to advertise itself as smoke-free, management should enforce this policy more consistently. Otherwise, it may be better not to promote it as a smoke-free property.
